- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation,
- Verifies vendor accounts by recording entry, verifying documentation
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
- Performs other related duties as required
- High School Graduate or equivalent. Associate degree in business or accounting preferred.
- 2-4 years accounting experience.
- Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills.. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required sit, use hands, and fingers routinely for data entry. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The associate normally works in a climate-controlled environment. The noise level is normal. The associate may be required to work in plant environment subject to extreme temperatures and high levels of noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
